Top 10 ways to kill time when you have nothing to do

You are getting bored, are you freaking serious? How can someone get bored and have nothing to do when there are so many stuffs to do. ‘Time and tide never wait for anyone’ and it being rightly said, you shouldn’t wait either to find ways for killing time. I personally do lot of stuffs to kill time in various ways because you should not have the time to waste time. You might be thinking that doing nothing could be one of the easiest tasks but it requires certain experience too. Here’s your to-do-guide on how to kill the time in more than one ways when you have nothing to do:

1.     Why not get creative for a day – Since some time now you have been thinking hard on doing something really creative like composing a song or penning a story or even sketching a picture but you did not had sufficient time. Now, it’s one of golden days when without any distractions you can become as creative as you want and let your creative juices flowing.

2.     You think it’s high time you should clean your house- As you look around your house, you discover that there has been a major change in the outlook of your house in a negative way and you need to do something about it. Why not become a servant of your own house for a day and clean your house so that it regains its original look. This might be a really good indicator on making the best utility of the spare time.

3.     You feel guilty you never had a chance to cook food, become a chef for a day- You love to eat but never had a chance to cook one and curious to know what it takes to cook that food. Why not wear a chef hat and white dress and devote your spare time to the kitchen. I myself love to ponder over mouth-watering delicacies but never been to the kitchen and did the cooking though wouldn’t mind trying it someday. It’s time you cook that delicious food and let your family members sit back and enjoy the delicacies.

4.     You have been craving to complete that important work for long, that day has arrived- If you have been really serious of late and want to get that important task completed, there might not be a better day than this one. Get everything organized and without wasting a single second, get started with all the important data and tools required to complete that work. Yes in a way it sounds great ‘Nothing is impossible and I have been doing it for years’ but trust me things are easier said than done and you will be only left with regrets.

5.     There is someone who you have been wanting to meet for quite some time now- Ok, it can be your school buddy, college buddy, some distant relative, office colleague or even someone special who have made possible efforts to meet you but you didn’t have the time. Why not plan an outing with them and get head over heels with flashback of those old memories or interesting conversation over the similar topic.

6.     You have got something to stare, keep staring- So, it’s been quite long since you actually stared how your house looks, it’s your time so you start looking around for things and other accessories which form integral part of your house. You could find that old wall clock you bought or even mementos with pictures of your close friends and family members hanging in the wall.

7.     Go online and browse for some interesting content in blogs and video forums- There are millions of blogs and various content sharing sites where you can find interesting content and get hold of something worthwhile investing time. If your hands are itching, you can even write some interesting story or any other article which you are thinking about in a blog.

8.     Keep sleeping- You may have been working tirelessly for the past few months and you have never had your share of sleep. This might be your day and you can sleep for as long as you want (even 24 hours) if you can manage to do so. This one can also be probably the best source of killing your time when you have nothing to do.

9.     Shuffle your playlist and listen to your favorite songs- You have an impressive playlist of almost all of your favorite songs but you have hardly heard most of those songs. What are you waiting for, put the earphone in your ears and groove to the ultimate tracks.

10.                         Call your old pals and talk to them- Sometimes speaking to your old friends revitalizes your energy and brings back those old memories which you used to cherish. Talk to your old pals and re-live those old days for some moments.
